So I left you last month with my Lions information. Have you thought about volunteering yet?
I did not win the election for 2nd Vice District Governor for my Lions District but it was a fun campaign and there'll be another opportunity when I'm needed sometime down the road. I'll be ready when it happens. Good luck to 2nd Vice District Governor Elect, Mike Kerek! As they say all things do happen for a reason and this was not my year for that.
It doesn't mean I am still not serving though! I was asked in addition to being Newsletter Editor to also be a Region Chairperson in my District. This is a new position for our District as we get ready for a re-district of our state. So there was something else for me to do. It will be a great year! I'll be working to help the district with this new position going forward and will be able to help future Region Chairs. Leadership and mentoring at its finest!
I recently gave two presentations on Jacqueline Kennedy. She was a great lady and showed tremendous leadership in this country and beyond. She was not the kind of women who ever wanted to just be a housewife. She said that in High School and proved it for the rest of her life. She showed great leadership for women in this country.
What kind of leadership are you projecting? Where will you leave your mark in this world?
Until next time....
